Script to pre-cache major areas

So thankfully the server renders things pretty fast when they're not already cached, and it's iteratively filling up when people go to new places.
But it'd be nice to have a script to pre-cache the first 8 or 9 zoom levels for the world, and then goes to the first 15 or so for major cities.
With the GeoWebCache rest api you should be pretty able to make a script that does that. Just need to figure out the bounds of the top 20 or 50 cities in the world.
That script could in turn make a great blog post, showing others how they can pre-seed certain areas of their map.
