Community

Communities are groups of people that share a common place. Communities can be small rural towns or urban neighborhoods.

Almanac

A new community creates an almanac to capture stories about their place. The Community Almanac site will host a collection of almanacs.

Story

Users contribute new stories and comment on existing stories about their community. Stories are place based and can be tied to a particular location (geographic point) or can be about larger features or regions (linear features or polygons). The content of these stories can be a narrative (text) or image based (photos or videos). Stories are also categorized.
